A little history
Mineville Wool Project is the brainchild of Fleece Artist’s Kathryn Thomas and Emily Dempsey. Over the years Fleece Artist was given the opportunity to sell unique yarns at discounted bulk prices. This was so successful that we decided to launch a whole new website, dedicated to selling these specials. We’ve named it Mineville Wool Project since we both live and work in Mineville, Nova Scotia.
This is how it works
Every month we will have new specials arriving on our site. One week before each special is to launch, we will send out a newsletter with product details and prices. This will give you time to plan before the products are available to purchase! Once up on the site, each product will be available in lots of natural as well as pre-hand dyed colours. The lot quantity will differ from product to product, and each hand-dyed colour will be one of a kind.
These yarns are sold in large hanks/bundles, enough per colour to knit a sweater or two! The bundles come with one product tag with the fibre content and gauge etc, however they will not be twisted into skeins.
Every product will be available to ship next day, so if you want it, add it to your cart and check out. At check out, you will be required to enter your information, (name, address, etc) and be given the option to set up an account. You will have three payment options: pay now with Pay Pal for next day shipping; pay via bank- transfer; or pay later. For pay via bank transfer, you will receive an email with our bank account transfer details. Once we confirm receipt of your transfer, your items will be shipped. For pay later, we will contact you within 24 hours for payment. Payments must be arranged and received within 48 hours or the products return to the site. Shipping will be calculated at checkout and will differ per location. For local customers an option for “local delivery” will be available.
Sounds easy, eh? I hope so.
